3.2.6 Printer Mechanism Disassembly

The procedures described in this section explain how to remove components within the printer mechanism.

3.2.6.1 Carriage Unit Removal

1.

Remove the printer mechanism (see Section 3.2.6).

2.

Remove the blue PG lever.

3.

Remove the tension coil securing the parallelism bushing to the side frame.

Use only O-11 oil when lubricating the carriage guide shaft.
