Main unit parts and functions

A

STANDBY/ON switch

Use this to put the unit into standby mode or turn it on.

o

If the display is off even though the STANDBY/ON switch is
set to ON, the cause is usually one of the following.

o

The power is on, but DIMMER (display brightness) is set to
AUTO OFF (page 24).

o

The automatic power saving function has activated, put-
ting the unit into standby (page 24).

o

The power cord is disconnected.

o

The unit is in standby because of the trigger function
(page 10).

To turn the unit on when the automatic power saving
function has activated, putting the unit into standby, press
the STANDBY/ON button on the remote control, or set the
STANDBY/ON switch to STANDBY once and then back to ON.

PHONES jacks

Connect headphones plugs (standard 6.3mm (1/4

) stereo or

4-pin XLR) here (page 12).

o

The indicator lights for the jack that is outputting analog
audio.

OUTPUT button

Press this to switch which connector outputs analog audio.

MENU button

Press this to enter setting mode (page 22).
Press this when in setting mode to return to the previous screen.

CLOCK indicator

This shows the clock synchronization status.

Lit:

The unit is currently synchronized with the clock
from the CLOCK sync input (10MHz IN) connector.

Blinking:

No clock is being input, or the unit is trying to
synchronize with the clock signal.

Unlit:

External clock is not being used.

SOURCE knob

Use this to select the input source.
Use this to change setting values when a menu item is shown.

Press this to use it as an ENTER button.
Turn this when the menu is open to change the item shown or
the setting value.

USB flash drive port (

)

Connect USB flash drives here.

o

To play audio files on a USB flash drive, set the input source
to NET and use the app for playback (page 7).

o

The maximum power supply is 0.5 A.

o

Computers should not be connected to the USB flash drive
ports on the front and back of the unit. To input audio from
a computer, connect it to the USB port on the back of the
unit.

Remote control signal receiver

This receives signals from the remote control. When operat-
ing the remote control, point it at the remote control signal
receiver.

Display

This display shows information about the audio playing back
and menu screens.
