Upconversion

Use this to set use of the upconversion circuit when receiving PCM
signals.

o

See page 15 for the relationships between input sampling fre-
quencies and sampling frequencies after upconversion.

MENU

UPCONVERT

OFF

OFF

The input signal is sent as is to the D/A converter without being
upconverted.

2× Fs

If the input audio signal is less than 2× a standard sampling fre-
quency, it is upconverted 2× and then sent to the D/A converter.

4× Fs

If the input audio signal is less than 4× a standard sampling frequency,
it is upconverted 4× and then sent to the D/A converter.

8× Fs

If the input audio signal is less than 8× a standard sampling frequency,
it is upconverted 8× and then sent to the D/A converter.

NOTE

This can be set directly with the remote control UPCONVERT button.

Clock sync

o

Clock sync is only possible when the input source is USB, NET
(including USB flash drives), COAXIAL, OPTICAL or Bluetooth.

clock.

ON (DIN SYNC)

This unit’s master clock will be synchronized to the 10MHz clock
input through the CLOCK sync input (10MHz IN) connector.

o

When the input source is COAXIAL, OPTICAL or Bluetooth,
select this when both this unit and the digital audio output
device are synchronized with the same external clock.

NOTE

When the input source is USB or NET (including USB flash drives),
operation will be the same when set to either ON (DIN ASYNC) or
