Stabilizer, Zoom and Flash

Image Stabilizer

Applicable modes:

The camera detects jitter during recording and automatically corrects it, so you can record
images with reduced jitter.

• When using an interchangeable lens with O.I.S. switch, stabilizer function is activated if the

O.I.S. switch of the lens is set to [ON]. ([

] is set at the time of purchase.)

Set the image stabilizer

• The [Stabilizer] feature is only available if the lens you are using has an internal stabilizer.

A lens which supports the stabilizer function is required.

[E-Stabilization
(Video)]

Jitter during motion picture recording is corrected along the vertical,
horizontal, pitch, and yaw axes by making use of the In-Lens Image
Stabilizer, and Electronic Image Stabilizer.

• When [E-Stabilization (Video)] operates, [

] is displayed on the

recording screen.

• When [ON] is selected, the angle of view of recorded motion pictures may

become narrower.
