TCP/IP
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol; a UNIX
based protocol suite developed by the Advanced Research
Projects Agency (ARPA). TCP is the primary transport
protocol and IP is the network-layer protocol. TCP/IP is the
standard protocol that allows the different systems of the
Internet to communicate with each other.
TES A terminate-and-stay-resident terminal emulation program.
UTP
Unshielded Twisted Pair. A transmission medium providing
connectivity on a network.
