To play back a disc recorded on this
camcorder using another BD/DVD
recorder/player, refer to the table

Playback is possible on
a DVD recorder/player
compatible with 8 cm
DVD-RAM/DVD-RW
(VR mode) discs.
Finalization is not
needed.

DVD-RW
(VR mode)

Playback is possible on
a DVD recorder/player
compatible with 8 cm
DVD-RW/DVD-R
discs. It is necessary to
first finalize it on this
camcorder (p.113)
before playback.

navigation display differs from
the one on this camcorder.

• There may be a case that

finalization is needed for a DVD-
RW (VR mode).

• Do not insert a DVD-RW (VR

mode) disc that was recorded on
this camcorder into a device that
does not conform to 8 cm DVD-
RW (VR mode). Doing so may
make the disc unusable.
