After dubbing to one disc, follow the
screen message to continue dubbing
the remaining scenes or time on the
next disc. The screen message to
continue dubbing on the next disc will
reappear, until dubbing is complete.

• No auto divide
The maximum number of scenes for
one disc will be dubbed.

Before you begin

z Prepare a recordable disc (p.30).
z Be sure to use the AC adapter/

charger to power the camcorder
during dubbing. Dubbing is not
possible with a battery connected.

z If power is turned off and dubbing

is interrupted midway, proper
dubbing will not be possible.

z During a single dubbing, dubbing

to both BD and DVD discs is not
possible. To dub to multiple discs,
prepare either multiple BD or
multiple DVD discs.

z For details on the recording time

for a scene that can be dubbed on
one disc, see "Storage capacity of

HDD/BD/DVD/Card" (p.169).

z In “No auto divide” mode, dubbing

will not be possible if the length of
a scene or scenes to be dubbed
exceeds the storage capacity for a
single BD/DVD. Switch the mode
to “With auto divide”, or divide the
scene (p.99) before dubbing.

Hints for dubbing

z The maximum number of scenes

that can be dubbed will vary
depending on the BD/DVD used
(p.170).

z Dub marks “

” appear for the

thumbnails of the scenes which
have already been dubbed.

When dubbing to a BD with HX
VIDEO Mode

50 mins.

60 mins.
