Event Log Messages and SNMP Support

Table 8-3 shows the event log messages that may be generated when QinQ is
enabled on the switch.

system: Rebooting for qinq

System reboot occasioned by a change in QinQ

mode change

configuration mode.

QinQ: qinq mode - mixedvlan

The device is configured to operate in qinq
mixed vlan mode.

QinQ: qinq mode - svlan

The device is configured to operate in qinq svlan
mode.

SNMP Support and MIB Objects

The switch SNMP agent can make use of certain variables that are included
in a Hewlett-Packard proprietary MIB (Management Information Base) file.
Table 8-4 on page 8-34 shows the MIB objects that can be used to configure
the Q-in-Q (provider bridge) mode, the provider bridge port-type, and the QinQ
outer tag ethertype.

The MIB objects listed in the following table may be subject to change. The
walkmib <OBJECT-STR> CLI command can be used to verify the availability of
the listed MIB objects on the device.
