Removal and Replacement Procedures
5. Flip the drive over and rest it on the notebook 1.

If the combination drive consists of an optical drive and a
diskette drive, perform steps 6 and 7 to disconnect the flex
cable from the drive.
6. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector 2 to which
the drive cable is attached and disconnect the cable 3.
7. Remove the combination drive.
