Removal and Replacement Procedures
4. Disconnect the 2 antennae cables 1 from the Mini PCI
communications card.
5. Spread the retaining tabs 2 that secure the Mini PCI
communications card to the socket. The edge of the card
that is opposite the edge connector rises.
6. Pull the card away from the socket at a 45-degree angle 3.
Removing the Mini PCI Communications Card
Ä CAUTION: Handle the antennae wires and connectors carefully during
reassembly so that the connectors are not damaged and the wires do
not become pinched between the edge of the board and the shield.
Reverse the above procedure to install the Mini PCI
communications card.
