Printing Your Files

Document Option Commands manual for complete information about
using DOC commands in your files.

The QMS DOC command syntax for printing trailer pages is

%%IncludeFeature: trailer (

selection [bin])

Your choice for

selection is on, off, file, or onfile. This option operates

the same as the header option, except that it prints a trailer page
instead of a header page. (See the %%IncludeFeature: header
command, above, for a description of these selections.) The default
setting is off.

You may also specify an input bin for the trailer page paper. Your
choices for

bin are the same as for selecting an input bin (see “Select-

ing an Input Bin,” earlier in this chapter). See the

QMS Crown Docu-

ment Option Commands manual for complete information about using
DOC commands in your files.

Using VMS Commands

If you are connected to the printer through a DECnet network, you
can use the VMS PRINT command qualifier to print header and trailer
pages.

The PRINT command syntax for special pages is

$ PRINT/SEPARATE=(FLAG,TRAILER)

filename

If the print job is specified as a PostScript language job, the VMS sys-
tem generates the special pages. If the job is any other language, the
printer generates the special pages. Replace

filename with the name

of your file. (See the

VMS Interface for QMS Printers manual for com-

plete information about using PRINT parameters.)
