Camera On/Off
To turn the camera on, press the
POWER button. Press the POWER
button again to turn it off.
When the power is turned on, the
green READY LED illuminates.
Camera Auto Power Off
In order to prolong battery life, the
camera may be set to turn off
automatically if the camera hasn't
been used for two minutes. You
can disable the auto power saving
function in the Setup menu mode
(refer to page 44).
There are two instances when the
camera will not turn off, even when
auto power saving is enabled. The
camera will not turn off when:
• Presenting a slide show
• Connecting to a computer
through a USB or video output
connection
If the camera turns off
automatically, press the POWER
button to resume use.
