Handling Floppy Disks

NOTE:

Do not open the shutter and touch the disk inside, otherwise you will
not be able to read or write data to the disk.

"

NOTE:

Do not place floppy disks near magnetic or heat sources, or in direct
sunlight or dusty environments.

"

NOTE:

Never subject a disk to to sudden shocks or extreme vibration. Do
not drop, bend, or place heavy objects on a disk.

"

NOTE:

Do not spill liquids on a disk.

Inserting and Removing Floppy
Disks

Hold the floppy disk with the arrow facing up and towards

the drive. Slide the disk until it locks into place.

NOTE:

Make sure the floppy disk is inserted correctly, not upside down.
Don’t use excessive force when inserting the disk into the drive.
Damage may result to the drive.

Inserting and Removing a Floppy Disk

Press the eject button firmly. The disk will pop out slightly.

Remove it and store it properly.
