MUTE ONE OR MORE ACCOMPANIMENT
TRACKS

While playing Styles, you may want to temporar-
ily deactivate (mute) one of more accompaniment
tracks to play the keyboard sounds with, for ex-
ample, Drums and Bass accompaniment only.

1. Select a Style.

The 16 Track Recording Studio section will
show the accompaniment tracks recalled by
the Style.

Examples: Mute one or more accompaniment tracks

2. Deactivate tracks 3, 4 and 5.

Press each button to cancel the LED.

The relative accompaniment pattern will be
excluded from the overall arrangement.

3. Start to play the Style.

Start to play with both hands right away and
you’ll hear Drums and Bass accompaniment
only while other accompaniment instruments
are excluded.

4. Introduce the muted tracks at will.

The tracks muted before starting the Style
can be introduced at any time during Style
play.

You can also mute the accompaniment tracks
while the Style is playing.
