Adjust the headphone volume
through the 2nd AUDIO OUT plug.

Operate the DVD/CD player using the
remote controller by referring to the
monitor screen.
• When Dual Zone is in use, you can only
operate the DVD/CD player using the
remote controller.
To control the other sources (except
AM) while Dual Zone is activated, use
the buttons on the control panel.
On the control panel:
You can also activate and deactivate Dual Zone,
but can neither control the DVD/CD player nor
adjust the headphone volume level.
• To adjust the headphone level, use the
remote controller.
1 Press MODE (M) to enter the
functions mode while listening to
any source.
“Mode” appears on the display.
2 Press number button 6 while “Mode”
is still on the display.
The source automatically changes to
“DISC.”

To cancel Dual Zone operations, repeat steps
1 and 2 (“Dual Zone Off” appears on the display.)
When the sounds through the rear speakers
are troublesome while listening with the
headphones
You can deactivate the rear speaker sound
output.

1 Press and hold SEL (select) for more than
2 seconds so that one of the PSM items
appears on the display.
2 Press number button 5 to select “AUDIO”—
Audio category of the PSM settings.
3 Press ¢ or 4 to select “Rear
SPK.”
4 Turn the control dial counterclockwise to
select “Off.”
5 Press SEL (select) to finish the setting.
To reactivate the rear speakers, repeat the
same procedure and select “On” in step 4 by
turning the control dial clockwise.
