Guide Program Numbers
Guide Program Numbers are used by the VIDEO Plus+ system to identify the correct preset
to record. You should only need to perform this function if:
• using a PlusCode does not identify a preset number automatically
• you add a channel after Auto Setup or Preset Download has been performed
• you wish to use the VIDEO Plus+ system to record a satellite programme
Manually Setting Guide Program Numbers
get to the guide prog set screen
Press m. Move the highlight bar to INITIAL SET using
the A and B buttons and press O (or E). Move the highlight bar to GUIDE PROG
SET using the A and B buttons and press O (or E).
enter guide prog number
Use the A and B buttons to enter the correct Guide
Program number for the TV station shown then press O (or E).
enter receiving preset number
Press AUX (number key
‘0’) to select TV PROG or SAT . Use the A and B buttons
to enter the receiving preset number that the VCR or satellite
receiver uses to receive the TV station then press O (or E).
satellite receiver users
To timer-record a satellite
programme with the VIDEO Plus+ system, you need to install
the provided Satellite Controller and perform the procedure
described in
Satellite Receiver Control Setting (
