Recording with a DV Connection Cable
1. Set the [Power] switch to [PLAYER].
2. Set the [Mode] switch to [TAPE].
(VP-D363(i)/D364W(i)/D365W(i) only)
3. Connect the DV cable (not supplied) from
the DV jack of the Camcorder to the DV
jack of the other DV device.
■ Make sure that is displayed.
4. Press the [Start/Stop] button to begin
REC PAUSE mode.
■ <PAUSE> is displayed.
5. Start playback on the other DV device
while you monitor the picture.
6. Press the [Start/Stop] button to start recording.
■ If you want to pause recording momentarily, press the
[Start/Stop] button again.
7. To stop recording, press the [ ■ (STOP)] button.
[ Notes ]
■ When you transmit data from the Camcorder to another DV device,
some functions may not work. If this occurs, please reconnect the DV
cable or turn the power OFF and ON again.
■ When you transmit data from the Camcorder to PC, PC function
button is not available in <M.Player> mode.
■ Do not use other DV device when using IEEE1394.
■ Do not connect the Camcorder to a PC using both DV and USB
cables. It may not operate properly.
■ The IEEE1394 cable (DV cable)is sold separately.
■ Moving image software is commercially available.
■ Most DV enabled PCs have a 6 pin jack. In this case, a 6pin/4pin
cable is required for the connection.
■ Most DV enabled Notebooks and Laptops have a 4 pin socket. Use a
4pin/4pin cable for the connection.
■ DIS and COLOR NITE are not available when in DV (IEEE1394)
mode. If DV (IEEE1394) mode is set, DIS and COLOR NITE modes
will be released.
■ When using this Camcorder as a recorder, the pictures that appear
on a monitor may seem uneven, however recorded pictures will not
be affected.
Grabación con un cable de conexión DV
1. Coloque el interruptor [Power] en

el terminal DV de la videocámara al
terminal DV de otro dispositivo DV.

4. Pulse el botón [Iniciar/Parar] para
activar el modo REC PAUSE.
■ Aparece <PAUSE> (PAUSA).
5. Inicie la reproducción en el otro aparato al tiempo que sigue las
imágenes en el monitor.
6. Pulse el botón [Iniciar/Detener] para comenzar la grabación.
■ Si desea detener momentáneamente la grabación, pulse de
nuevo el botón [Iniciar/Detener].
7. Para detener la grabación, pulse el botón [ ■ (STOP)].
[ Notas ]
■ Al transmitir datos de la videocámara a otro aparato DV, es posible
que algunas operaciones no funcionen. En tal caso, vuelva a
conectar el cable DV o apague y encienda de nuevo el aparato.
■ Cuando se transfieren datos desde la videocámara a un PC, el botón de
función PC no está disponible en el modo <M.Player> (Modo M.Play).
■ No utilice otro dispositivo DV al utilizar IEEE1394.
■ No conecte la videocámara a un PC utilizando los dos cables DV y
USB. Puede que no funcione correctamente.
■ El cable IEEE1394 (cable DV) se vende por separado.
■ El software de secuencias de video está disponible en el mercado.
■ La mayoría de DV con compatibilidad para PC tiene una toma de 6
patillas. En este caso, para la conexión se necesita un cable de 6-4
patillas.
■ La mayoría de DV con compatibilidad para portátiles tiene una toma
de 4 patillas. Para la conexión, utilice un cable 4-4 patillas.
■ DIS y COLOR NITE no están disponibles en el modo DV
(IEEE1394). Si se define el modo DV(IEEE1394), se desactivarán los
modos DIS y COLOR NITE <COLOR NOCTURNO>.
■ Al emplear esta cámara como grabador, es posible que las imágenes
que aparecen en el monitor se vean irregulares. No obstante, esto
no afecta a las imágenes que se graban.
