7. Remove the rear panel (six tap screws).
8. Loosen the hex bolts securing the motor bracket to
the frame, raise the motor and remove the V-belt
from the motor pulley. The drum sander should now
look similar to Figure.47.
9. Remove the sanding drum (four lock nuts and four
flat washers) and V-belt (see Figure.48).
10. Remove the guard covers for the conveyor front and
rear rollers (eight Phillip head screws). The drum
sander should now look similar to Figure.49.
