Play
This system lets you play the MD in different
play modes.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to MD.

Press PLAY MODE in stop mode
repeatedly until the mode you want
appears.
Select
No display
(Normal Play)
SHUF
(Shuffle Play)
PGM
(Program Play)

Press MD NX (or N on the remote).
Note
You cannot change the play mode during playback.
To play
The tracks on the MD in
original order.
All tracks on the MD in random
order.
The tracks on the MD in the
order you want them to be
played (see “Programming MD
tracks” on page 15).

Erasing a disc title

Press CD on the remote.

Press MENU/NO on the remote in stop
mode.

Press . or > on the remote
repeatedly until “Name Erase?”
appears, then press ENTER/YES on the
remote.

Press . or > on the remote
repeatedly to select the disc title you
want to erase.
“No Name” appears if no disc title is
labelled.

Press ENTER/YES on the remote.
“Complete!” appears.
To erase all disc titles
Press . or > on the remote repeatedly
until “All Erase?” appears in step 3, then press
ENTER/YES on the remote twice.
To cancel erasing
Press MENU/NO on the remote during step 2
through 4.
Note
The disc titles are saved in the system memory for
about a day even if you disconnect the mains lead or a
power failure occurs.
