Checking the total playing
time/titles (CD/MD)
Press DISPLAY on the remote in stop
mode.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
x When a CD is in stop mode
Total number of tracks and the total playing
time

x When an MD is in stop mode

* 4 Only with CD TEXT discs or when the CD is
labelled (certain characters cannot be displayed).
Depending on the disc, some CD TEXT
information may not appear.
* 5 When the Group Function is on, the total number
of groups (when no group is selected) or the total
number of tracks and the total playing time within
the group (when a group is selected) are displayed.
“---.--” appears when the total playing time of the
MD exceeds 1,000 minutes.
* 6 Only when the disc is labelled. When the Group
Function is on, the group title is displayed.

Checking the remaining time/
titles (CD/MD)
When a CD TEXT disc is loaded, you can
check the information stored on the disc, such
as the titles. When the unit detects CD TEXT
discs, the “TEXT” indication appears in the
display.
Press DISPLAY on the remote during
playback.
Each time you press the button, the display

time of all tracks in the group is displayed.
* 3 Only when the track is labelled.
