Change name (phone memory)
This option allows you to change the name of the
selected entry.

To clear the old name, press the

key. For more

information on how to enter characters, see page 37.

Send SMS
This option allows you to send an SMS message to
the selected number. For more information on how to
send a message, see page 66.

Copy
This option allows you to copy the selected entry
from the phone memory to the SIM memory, and vice
versa.

Delete entry
This option allows you to delete the selected entry
from the phonebook. To confirm the deletion, press
the

soft key. Otherwise, press the

soft key.

Speed-Dialling

Once you have stored numbers in the phone memory,
you can set up to eight speed-dial entries and then
dial them easily whenever you want, simply by
pressing the associated number key.

Setting Up Speed-Dial Entries

1. When the idle screen is displayed, press the

soft key to access the Phonebook menu.

2. Scroll to Speed list by pressing the

or

key and press the

soft key.

3. Press the

or

key to scroll to the required

entry and press the

soft key.

4. Enter the required number and press the

key,then enter a name and press the

soft key.

Or, press the

soft key to recall a number from the

phonebook. The entry is automatically saved.

Removing a Speed-Dial Allocation

Select the speed-dial entry that you wish to remove
from the list and press the

soft key. Delete each

character of the number and name with the

key,

then save the empty entry by pressing the

key.

Using the Speed-Dial Feature

When the idle screen is displayed, hold down the
number key (

to

) assigned to the speed-

dial entry.
