Editing Group Settings
You can change the settings of the five predefined
caller groups.
1. When the idle screen is displayed, press the
soft key.
2. Scroll to the Management menu, by pressing
the key.
3. Scroll to G roup setting by pressing the or
key and press the soft key.
4. Select the required caller group by pressing the
or key and press the soft key.
5. Scroll to the required setting option by pressing
the or key, and press the soft key. The
following options are available.
Melody: allows you to select the ring melody used
when you receive a call from any member of that
group.
Colour: allows you to select the colour of the
service light used when you receive a call from any
member of that group.
Graphic: allows you to select the image used
when you receive a call from any member of that
group.
Change name: allows you to change the name of
the group; for further details on how to enter
characters, see page 37.

6. Change the setting as required and press the
soft key.
7. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 to change any other options.
8. When you have finished, press the soft key or
the key to exit.
Using Other Phonebook Features
Storing Your Own Number
You can store your own phone number(s) with a
name. The number of phone numbers that you can
store may vary depending on the SIM card.
1. When the idle screen is displayed, press the
soft key.
2. Scroll to the Management menu, by pressing
the key.
3. When Own number is highlighted, press the
soft key.
4. Select an entry and press the soft key.
5. Enter your number and press the key to move
to the Name field.
6. Enter the name and press the soft key.
7. Press the soft key or the key to exit.
To remove the Own number, delete the number and
name in above step 5 and 6, then press the
soft
key.
