message is long, press the
key on the left side of
the phone one or more times.
To view another message, scroll through the
messages using the
or key. You can also
press the Next soft key at the end of the message to
move to the next message.

Broadcast
(Menu 1-9)
This network service allows you to receive text
messages on various topics, such as the weather or
traffic. Messages are displayed immediately as they
are received, provided that:
• The phone is in idle mode
• The Receive option is set to On
• The message channel is currently active in the
channel list
The last five messages are also stored for later
retrieval. Please contact your service provider for
more information.
The following options are available.
Receive: allows you to turn the reception of
broadcast messages on or off.
Channel: lists all available channels. The channels
currently selected are indicated by a check mark
beside the name. When you select one of them, you
can edit, enable, disable or delete the channel.
The Add option allows you to add a new channel to
the channel list. Enter the appropriate channel ID
obtained from your service provider and a title for the
channel.
Language: allows you to select your preferred
language to be used when displaying cell broadcast
messages.
