Using the Voice-Dial Options

Replay: plays back the voice dial tag of the entry.

Delete: deletes the entry. When a confirming
message appears, press the

soft key.

Using theVoice-Dial Feature

If you have set the Active folder option to Voice
dial
(see page 91), open the phone and say the name
into the microphone. The phone then automatically
dials the number stored with that name.

Or, use the Act option in the Voice dial menu option.

Dialling a Number Stored in Your SIM Card

Once you have stored phone numbers in your SIM
card, you can dial them easily whenever required.

To dial a number stored in your SIM card, proceed as
follows.

1. Enter the number of the SIM card location in which

the number you wish to dial is stored.

2. Press the

key.

The display shows the name and number stored in
that location.

3. Press the Dial soft key or the

key.

Note: Key

is reserved for your Voice Mail

server number.

Voice-dialling

Once you have stored numbers in the phone memory,
you can record up to 20 voice-dial entries.For further
details about using the voice dialling feature, refer to
page 77.

Setting Up Voice-Dial Entries

1. When the idle screen is displayed, press the

soft key to access the Phonebook menu.

2. Scroll to Voice list by pressing the

or

key and press the

soft key.

3. Press the

or

key to scroll to the required

entry and press the

soft key.

4. Record a name by speaking into the microphone.

5. Say the name again at a prompt to confirm it.

When the voice tag is correctly accepted, the

phone saves it.

6. Enter the required number and press the

key,then enter a name and press the

soft key.

Or, press the

soft key to recall a number from the

phonebook. The entry is automatically saved.
