Inserting a hyphen.

You can insert a hyphen into a phone number manually or you can

program your phone to insert them automatically (see page 55).

Hyphens are used for appearance only; the phone dials the number

without any delays. To insert a hyphen manually:

1. Enter the first part of the number.

2. Press the dial where you want to insert the hyphen. The Options

menu will be displayed.

3. Turn the dial to select “Enter Hyphen” then press the dial.

You can access all of your phone’s functions and settings through the

Features menu, even during a call. Each item in the features menu

is identified by a two-digit number. If you’re in a hurry, just press the

dial and enter the two-digit number of the menu item you want.

A complete list of menu item numbers appears on page 57.

Navigating through the menu.

To access a menu: press the dial.

To scroll through menu items: turn the dial.

To go back one level: press .

To select a menu item: press the dial.

To scroll through possible settings: turn the dial.

To save the setting: press the dial.

To exit the Features menu

and cancel without saving: press .

Note:

Be careful not to press during a call or your call will

be disconnected.
