8: Network. Your Sprint PCS Phone comes with several different

options to keep you aware of what’s happening.

81: Roam Alert

When this option is set to “on,” your phone

alerts you whenever you begin traveling

outside of the Sprint PCS Network.

82: Drop Alert

This option will use a tone to let you know if, for

some reason, you’ve lost a call or lost service.

83: Privacy Alert

The display will indicate if enhanced voice

privacy is lost during a call. You can choose to

have an audible alarm accompany this display.

Taking a menu shortcut.

You can quickly access a menu from the standby display by pressing

the dial then entering the menu number of the feature you want.

For example, to adjust your phone’s backlight, just press the dial

then press

.

When you access a menu item, you will see its corresponding number

in the upper left corner of your display screen. For example, you will

see “F72” on the screen when you access the backlight menu.
