Parameter Description
IP Address Pool
Start IP Specify the start IP address of the DHCP pool. Do not include the gateway
address of the SAGEM F@st™ 1500 ADSL Router in the client address
pool. If you change the pool range, make sure the first three octets match
the gateway’s IP address, i.e., 192.168.2.xxx
End IP Specify the end IP address of the DHCP pool.
Domain Name If your network uses a domain name, enter it here. Otherwise, leave this
field blank.
Modify all parameters on the screen, then click on "Apply".
Remember to configure your client PCs for dynamic address allocation (See section
3.1 for details).
In this menu is included the following sub-menus:
¾ VLAN (see section 4.5.1),
¾ DNS (see section 4.5.2).
4.5.1 VLAN
The VLAN menu allows the users to create a new VLAN entry and to configure its profile parameters.
To create a new VLAN profile, simply click the «
Add VLAN » hyperlink.
The « Edit » and « Delete » buttons at the end of each VLAN profile entry allow users to modify and delete
the specific VLAN profile respectively.
Note that there is no « Delete » button for the default VLAN profile that cannot be deleted
The default VLAN is created per default and mapped to all LAN and WLAN ports.
