If Volume Manager (

) is not running on your machine, unmount the
CD-ROM before you eject and remove the directory that you created:
3. Reboot your machine.
▼ To Check the Installation
1. Use
netstat(1M)
to check for SunFDDI/P interfaces.
2. Use
ifconfig(1M)
to check the current state of the SunFDDI/P
interfaces.
3. Use
ping(1M)
to verify that you can send and receive data across the
FDDI connection.
If your SunFDDI/P station is attached to an active FDDI network, try to
access a remote station.
# /usr/sbin/umount /cdrom/sunfddip_1_0
# eject cdrom
# rmdir /cdrom/sunfddip_1_0
% /usr/bin/netstat -i
