To Check the IP Routing

1. Check the IP routing table using the

netstat(1M)

command:

2. Check that the FDDI subnetwork is featured in the routing table.

If the routing table is empty, check that the routing daemon (

in.routed

) is

running on your machine.

To Check the Protocol Statistics

Use

netstat(1M)

to check the per-protocol (IP, TCP, UDP, etc.) statistics

for errors:

% netstat —nr
