Quality State-
ments

Battery quality statement

The capacity of your mobile phone

battery will reduce each time it is

charged/emptied. Storage at too

high or low temperatures will also

result in a gradual capacity loss. As a

result the operating time of your mo-

bile phone may be considerably re-

duced, even after a full recharge of

the battery.
Regardless of this, the battery has

been designed and manufactured so

that it can be recharged and used for

six months after the purchase of

your mobile phone. After six

months, if the battery is clearly suf-

fering from loss of performance, we

recommend that you replace it.

Please buy only Siemens original

batteries.

Display quality statement

Discoloured white or black dots may

appear on the display. This is a de-

sign-related feature of the screen.

Standard ISO 13406-2:2001 regu-

lates how many defective pixels or

subpixels are acceptable. Siemens

has complied with this standard and

satisfies the following requirements:
• maximum number of defective

white pixels: 2

• maximum number of defective

black pixels: 2

• maximum total number of defec-

tive pixels: 5

In addition, there may be no more

than 4 defective bright pixels in a

diameter of 10 mm.
If the screen on your phone does not

satisfy these requirements, please

contact Siemens Service, p. 93.
