Playback from External Components

You can play tracks by connecting external components to the system.

External Components

Connect the external component to the system as described in “Connecting
Other Accessories (Commercially Available Units)” (P.13–15).

When connecting external components, always turn this system and the external
components off beforehand.

Refer also to the instruction manual for the external component to be connected.

Adjust the volume level.

Select the input source to be used for playback.

Begin playback on the connected external component.

Begin playback using the controls on the connected external component.

When a digital component is
selected, the input signal sampling
frequency is displayed.
The R-K1000 will play PCM (32 kHz
– 96 kHz) digital signals.

Turn the [INPUT SELECTOR] knob to select the input

source to be used for playback.

The input source changes as shown below each time you press the key.

The display changes as shown below each time you press the [DISPLAY] key.
When “D.AUDIO”, “PHONO”, “TAPE” or “AUX” is selected:
