Canceling automatic setup
If you press the [MODE] key during automatic setup, the “R.EQ CANCEL?” message appears.
If you press the [ENTER] key, “R.EQ CANCEL” is displayed and setup is canceled.
Pressing the [VOL] key also cancels automatic setup.
Temporarily canceling the characteristics set automatically
1 Press the [MODE] key.
2 Press the [A] or [B] key to select “ROOM EQ”.
3 Press the [ENTER] key.
4 Press the [A] or [B] key to select “R.EQ OFF”.
5 Press the [ENTER] key.
Restoring canceled characteristics
1 Press the [MODE] key.
2 Press the [A] or [B] key to select “ROOM EQ”.
3 Press the [ENTER] key.
4 Press the [A] or [B] key to select “R.EQ CALL”.
5 Press the [ENTER] key.

Automatic setup takes about 1 minute to complete.
If the room equalizer microphone is not connected, or if headphones are
connected, the “CAN’T SETUP” message appears and measurement fails.
Always disconnect the microphone from the main unit once measurement is
completed.
Depending on the conditions in which the system is used, the eff ects of the
Room Equalizer may not be clearly apparent.
Do not perform other operations during automatic setup.
