J. WIRE FEEDER VOLTMETER SWITCH
-This switch selects the polarity of the wire
feeder voltmeter, if so equipped. When weld-
ing electrode positive (MIG, Outershield and
some Innershield processes) set the switch
to "+".
-When welding electrode negative (most
Innershield electrodes) set the switch to "-".
-This switch has no effect on the welding
polarity. In fact, if the wire feeder being used
does not have a voltmeter, the setting of this
switch has no effect.
