■ You forgot to enter your insulin
information after a test.
When insulin recording is used, you
must also enter the hour, minute, day,
month, and year, in addition to the
insulin type and units. The records
entered in this option may appear out of
order in the meter memory. This option
allows you to enter several insulin records
one after another. For example, you could
enter all your insulin doses for the day.
To enter insulin information, enter the
set-up mode (see page 27). Use the M
button to choose the Insulin Recording
option. Press the C button and the insulin
type will flash. Continue pressing the C
button until your insulin type is dis-
played. Press the M button and the units
will flash. Use the C button to enter your
insulin units. Press the M button and the
hour will flash. Press the C button to
advance the hour to the correct setting.
Press the M button and the minutes will
flash. Push the C button to change the
minutes. Use the M button and the year
will flash. Press the C button to change
the year. Press the M button and the
month will flash. Press the C button to
change the month. Press the M button
and the day will flash. Press the C button
to change the day.
After you have moved through each area,
the complete record will be displayed for
two seconds, followed by another insulin
recording screen. At this time you may
press the C button to enter another
