3. SWITCH MANAGEMENT
This chapter describes how to manage the Layer 3 Managed Switch. Topics include:

3.1 Overview
The Layer 3 Managed Switch provides a user-friendly, command line under console interface. Using this interface, you can
perform various Layer 3 Managed Switch configuration and management activities, including:

First layer execute command
enable Turn on privileged mode command.
exit End current mode and down to previous mode.
help Description of the interactive help system.
show Show running system information.
terminal Set terminal line parameters.
Second layer execute command

clear Reset functions.
configure Enter configuration mode.
copy Copy from one file to another.
debug Debugging functions (see also 'undebug').
disable Turn off privileged mode command.
enable Turn on privileged mode command.
exit End current mode and down to previous mode.
help Description of the interactive help system.
no Negate a command or set its defaults.
show Show running system information.
system Set system configuration.
terminal Set terminal line parameters.
undebug Disable debugging functions (see also 'debug').
write Write running configuration to memory, network, or terminal.
