Selecting a preset

1 Select ‘Start’.

2 Select ‘Video Memory Select’.

3 Select a preset.

Standard – Default setting; no effect added
Cinema – High contrast picture
Animation – Picture with rich color
Memory 1, 2, 3 – User presets (see below for
more on these)

You can highlight a preset while a disc is playing (before
you press

ENTER

to select it) to see the effect on the

picture immediately. Note that depending on the disc
and your TV/monitor, the effect of these settings may not
be clear.

Creating your own setting (1)

1 Select ‘Start’.

2 Select ‘Video Setup’

3 Use the

5 and buttons to select a

picture quality parameter, then use the

3 buttons to adjust that parameter.

Fine Focus – Switch on to reveal greater detail
(higher resolution) in the picture.
Contrast – Adjusts the contrast of the elements in
the picture.
