Troubleshooting

Incorrect operation is often mistaken for trouble or
malfunction. If you think that there is something wrong
with this component, check the points below. Sometimes
the trouble may lie in another component. Inspect the
other components and electrical appliances being used.
If the trouble cannot be rectified after checking the
items below, ask your nearest Pioneer authorized service
center or your dealer to carry out repair work.

Amplifier fault finding

If there is an internal fault in the amplifier, the power is
automatically shut off without the display showing the
usual “Goodbye” message. The standby indicator
blinks and none of the controls work, including the
power button.

Please contact your nearest Pioneer Service Center.

Fan fault finding

If there is a fault with the fan, the display shows FAN
ERROR
then the power is automatically shut off. If
when you swith the unit back on, everything works

normally then you can continue to use it. If the error
persists, please contact your nearest Pioneer service
Center.

DVD fault finding

If there is an internal fault in the DVD player, the display
shows
