4.5 Web Browser Setup when Using a Proxy Server
The ISP may connect you to the Internet via a proxy server.
When connected via a proxy server, the setup page cannot be accessed. Take the following steps to
modify the web browser settings.
The following steps are for when using Internet Explorer 6.0.
1.
Start the web browser.
2.
Select Internet Options in the Tools menu.
3.
Click the Connections tab.
4.
Click [LAN Settings].
5.
See the Use a proxy server for your LAN check
box in the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings
dialog box.
• If the check box is checked, uncheck it and
click [OK].
• If the check box is unchecked, click
[Cancel] and complete settings.
Confirm that this box
is not checked.
