Set the analog output gain on the amplifier output channel to be either +4,

0, or -10 depending on the nominal signal level required by the audio

amplifier. Amplifiers with RCA inputs will require a -10dB setting, most

system integration professional amplifiers will require the 0dB setting,

and some amplifiers will require the +4dB setting.

Turn down the audio amplifier to the lowest possible volume setting

(alternatively the highest amount of attenuation). The noise generator

will be loud in the next step and it is best to reduce the gain on the

amplifier prior to sending noise into the room.

On the channels page unmute the signal generator and ensure the gain is

set to 0 as shown in the following figure. There are different signals that

the signal generator can create, ensure that Pink Noise is selected.
