8. Enter or select the PPP user name and password settings that are explained in the following
table. Your ISP will advise you which settings to use.
9. Click Next to continue. The Summary screen displays.

PPP User Name Enter your user name.
PPP Password Enter your password,
Session
establishment Enter the PPP user name and password that you use to log on. These fields are
case-sensitive. Specify how the session must be established:
• Always On. Enables the connection to be active continuously.
• Dial on Demand. Activates the connection when there is demand.
Enter a value in the minutes field to deactivate the connection when there is no
activity. (This mechanism is also known as the PPP idle timer.)
• Manually Connect. Requires you to press the Connect hyperlink in the PVC
Name column of the WAN Setup screen to activate the connection.
