13 A Quick Look at the Keys
LDP (Laser Disc Player) Controls
STOP Use to stop a function.
Number Keypad Use 0–9 to enter numbers.
REPEAT Use to repeat a function.
MODE SHIFT Use to select a different mode.
Mode Keys Use TV, VCR/DVD, CAB/SAT, RECVR,
AUX 1, AUX 2, AUX 3, and AUX 4 to
select devices. Use THEATER to select
Home Theater mode. Use SET 1, SET
2, and SET 3 to run programmed mac-
ros in Home Theater mode.
Control Function
EXT Use to select external input or antenna
MENU Use to view your LPD’s main menu.
GUIDE Use to view the program guide.
TV/VCR Use to switch between TV or LPD.
REPEAT Use to repeat a chapter.
EXIT Use to exit display or menu.
INFO Use to display graphical user interface
or other information.
SELECT Use to select menu and remote control
programming options.
TITLE Use to go to LDP’s main title.
SUBTITLE Use to select subtitle options.
LANG Use to select language options.
ANALOG Use to select analog outputs.
Arrows Use up/down/left/right cursor arrows to
move through menu and programming
options.
FF, REW, PLAY,
STOP, PAUSE,
and REC Use to control LPD transport.
Number Keypad Use 0–9 to enter track numbers.
+10 Use to enter track numbers greater
than 10.
