CD dubbing

(component system operation)

Perform CD dubbing to digitally record all the tracks
from a music CD to a CD-R or CD-RW. The dubbing
mode is selected at the EDIT menu.

Preparation

• Turn on the CDR-205X (see page 15).
• Place the music CD in the CD player. (Refer to

the instruction manual for the C-707CHX).

• Place a recordable CD-R or CD-RW in the CDR-

205X (see page 16).

Repeatedly press the INPUT button
until "Digital In1" appears.

Note:

CD dubbing cannot be performed when "Digital
In2" or "Analog In" is selected.

Press the YES button.

The current dubbing mode appears.

Notes:

• In the fade mode, only the remaining recording

time is displayed.

• When recording to a CD-RW in the album mode,

the remaining possible recording time is not
displayed.

Repeatedly press the EDIT/NO button
until "CD DubMode" appears.

The current dubbing mode is given on the left
side (for the display given above, the current
dubbing mode is the album mode).

Album: Only record the tracks that can be

completely recorded. (Album mode)

Fade: Fade-out a track if it cannot be

completely recorded. (Fade-out mode)

To change the dubbing mode, press the
YES button.

The new dubbing mode is set. To not change
the dubbing mode, press the
EDIT/NO button.
