Network Set Up
To setup your fax machine on a network, settings for the machine
are located in two places.
• Settings stored on the fax machine
• Settings recorded on the network card
Each section below is categorized by the Menu listings found in
the fax machine. They are as follows:
• “I-Fax NIC Settings” on page 9
• “POP Interval” on page 12
• “Network Settings” on page 12
• “I-Fax NIC Initialize” on page 16
Identifying Current Settings on Fax Machine
The Configuration Report lists the current settings of the facsim-
ile machine and the network card.
Print the Configuration Report
1. Press the Select Function key.
2. Press the 6/Report Print One-Touch key. The display will
show 1:ACTIVITY REPORT .
3. Using the numeric keypad, press 5 . The display will show
5:CONFIGURATION .
4. Press . The report will print.
1. I-Fax NIC Options
The following lists the available options for setting up and
adjusting the Network Interface Card (NIC) functions.
To access:
1. Press Select Function to enter the menu.
2. Press 9/USER PROG to enter the programming menu and
then press keypad 8 for I-FAX NIC OPTIONS and press
to enter the menu.
