Adjusting the Scan Density

Press the or key to select the current fax image quality, and then press
the Enter key.

STD/TEXT , FINE/TEXT, S-FINE/TEXT, STD/PHOTO, FINE/PHOTO
or S-FINE/PHOTO may appear, depending on the setting selected for
FAX TX OPERATION function in the UTILITY menu.

Press the or key to select DENSITY , and then press the Enter key.

Press the or key to select the scan density, and then press the Enter key.
The scan density is adjusted.
Specifying a Recipient
The recipients can be specified in any of the following ways.
„ Direct dialing: Directly type in the fax number.
„ Using the favorite list: Recall a speed dial destination or group dial destina-
tion registered on the favorite list.
„ Using the Speed Dial function: Specify a recipient registered with a speed
dial.
„ Using group dial numbers: Recall a registered group dial destination.
„ Using the phone book functions: List or search for recipients registered as
speed dial numbers or group dial numbers, and then select a recipient.
„ Using the Redial/Pause key: Specify the number of the recipient dialed last.
