Changing the status of a task

When a new task is created, it will be set as active.

When you have completed the task, you can update

its status.
To mark a task as completed:

1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Programs.
2. Tap Tasks.
3. Scroll to the required task, then tap Complete.

Sorting and filtering tasks

To sort and filter tasks:

1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Programs.
2. Tap Tasks.
3. To sort the tasks, tap Menu > Sort By, then

select an item by which to sort the list

or

to filter the tasks, tap Menu > Filter, then select

a filter.

Deleting a task

To delete a task:

1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Programs.
2. Tap Tasks.
3. Tap the required task.
4. Tap Menu > Delete.
5. Tap Yes to confirm the deletion.

Windows Live

Windows Live gives access to searching using

Live Search, as well as access to Windows Live

Messenger.

TIP: If you need to reactivate a task, scroll to

the required task, then tap Activate.

TIP: You can use the filter option for Active

Tasks or Completed Tasks at the same time

as another filter.
