Disabling phone lock
To disable the phone lock:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. On the Personal tab, tap Phone.
3. Tap the Security tab.
4. Untick the Require PIN when phone is used
checkbox.
5. Enter the SIM PIN, then tap Enter.
6. Tap ok.
Changing PIN2
To change PIN2:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. On the Personal tab, tap Phone.
3. Tap the Security tab.
4. Tap Change PIN2.
5. Enter the old PIN2, then tap Enter.
6. Enter the new PIN2, then tap Enter.
7. Confirm the new PIN2, then tap Enter.
Customising the Start menu
You can select the applications to be displayed in
the Start menu. Applications that are not selected
can be accessed by tapping Start > Programs from
the Today screen.
To customise the Start menu:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. On the Personal tab, tap Menus.
3. Tick the checkboxes for the required
applications, then tap ok.
WARNING: If you enter the incorrect PIN for
your SIM card three consecutive times, you
will need to contact your service provider to
obtain the PUK. Do not attempt to guess the
PUK as your SIM card will be rendered
permanently inoperative following ten
consecutive unsuccessful attempts.
NOTE: You can only change PIN2 if this
functionality is enabled on your SIM card.

obtain the PUK2.
NOTE: Make a note of the new PIN2.
NOTE: Only seven items can be selected for
the Start menu.
