A-GPS
A-GPS enables you to regularly download updated
GPS satellite data. This can improve the GPS
performance.
Using A-GPS
greatly reduces the time taken by
your Toshiba phone to calculate its starting location
when first switched on. There will also be improved
performance in challenging environments, such as
indoors and when surrounded by tall buildings or
trees.
You can set A-GPS to automatically download
updated GPS data, or you can manually update the
data.
To access A-GPS:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Programs.
2. Tap A-GPS.
AutoConfig
For details of AutoConfig, refer to Auto
Configurator in Getting started.
AutoInstall
AutoInstall enables you to easily install
applications loaded on your Toshiba phone.
To install applications using AutoInstall:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Programs.
2. Tap AutoInstall.
3. Tick the checkboxes for the applications to
install. To select all applications, tap Menu >
Select All.
4. Tap Next.
5. Tap Yes to confirm the installation.
6. Tap ok when the installation is complete. You
may need to restart your Toshiba phone for the
changes to take effect.
