** RINGING ** There is a call coming in .
CONNECTING... The handset is waiting for a dial tone .
PHONE The handset is in use .
** PAGING ** The base is paging the handset .
LOW BATTERY The battery needs to be recharged .
SCANNING...
The handset is changing to one of the 30 channels available for better
reception .
CAN’T CONNECT
Together with an error tone when the base power is off and TALK is
pressed .
