What's new

SMART Bridgit 4.5 software introduces several new features.

Knocking

You can knock at a SMART Bridgit meeting door to get access to the meeting without receiving an

invitation to the meeting. When you knock, other participants in the SMART Bridgit meeting can allow

or deny you access to the meeting. For more information, see Joining a meeting with a knock on page

20.

Sharing a region of your desktop

You can share a small region of your shared display with meeting participants. For more information,

see Sharing a region of your desktop on page 26.

Raising your hand

The Raise Hand feature enables meeting participants to politely interrupt when they want to

contribute to the meeting. This feature provides both a visual and an audible notification to capture the

attention of other participants. For more information, see Raising your hand on page 33.

Resizing video windows

You can resize the video dialog boxof other participants' webcam views. For more information on

webcam views and resizing the video window, see Using webcams on page 29.

Incremental annotation with drawing tools

SMART Bridgit software uses incremental annotation so meeting participants view new information

seamlessly. When you draw new information on your shared screen, SMART Bridgit software sends

the new input in small continuous chunks as it is being added and the meeting participants see it

incrementally. For more information on drawing tools, see Using drawing tools while sharing on page

26.
