Using the smartphone on the unit
On <HOME> screen:
• When <Smartphone> is set to [MirrorLink], a
combination of your smartphone screen and control
buttons appears.
Displays the home screen of the specialized
application.
Displays the menu option of the specialized
application.
Returns to the previous screen.
• An unavailable button is disabled.
For using MirrorLink:
• Only MirrorLink-compatible smartphones are
available. For compatible smartphones, visit the
following website:
http://www3.jvckenwood.com/english/car/
• To use MirrorLink, the specialized application
must be installed in the compatible smartphone.
• After connecting to a smartphone compatible
with this unit, the application’s home screen will
appear on the touch panel screen.
• MirrorLink will be unavailable if you start
another application on the smartphone while
the specialized application is used. To use the
specialized application in MirrorLink again,
remove and insert the smartphone cable
connected to the smartphone.

You can switch the display to the smartphone screen
while listening to another source.

• Only for KW-NSX700: Make sure that “AV Off” is
selected as the rear source. (☞ page 37)
• Select [AV] for <Display> on the <HOME> screen
beforehand. (☞ page 11)
